AI Acknowledgment
This blog is produced in collaboration with AI, and I want to be transparent about how.
Every article covered on The AML Analyst is read by me in full before any writing begins. The research, opinions, identified issues, and proposed arguments are my own. AI does not generate my views; it helps me structure and articulate them. The workflow is straightforward. I read the source material, form my own analysis, and bring that thinking to AI, which then helps shape it into a coherent post. I review and approve all content before it is published.
AI is also used to surface relevant articles and regulatory developments across the sources I track, and to provide contextual or regulatory background where needed. The editorial decisions, what to cover, what position to take, what matters, and what does not, are always mine.
I have chosen to be upfront about this for two reasons. First, AI is increasingly part of how professionals across financial crime and compliance work, and there is no value in obscuring that. Second, the integrity of what I publish depends on readers’ understanding of what they are engaging with. The analysis on this blog represents my thinking, and AI is the tool I use to communicate it effectively.
If you have any questions about the process, feel free to reach out.
